vitamin C

Vitamin C is something that we all need. Many of us dont get enough and I think we should all really consider changing that. Vitamin C is appealing to your health for many reasons. Vitamin C can prevent wrinkles, protect your health, help fight cancer, boost brain power, and help conserve eye sight.
An October 2007 study published in the american journal of clinical nutrion found that people who ate foods rich in vitamin C had fewer wrinkles and less age-related dry skin than those whose diets contained only small amounts of the vitamin C helped form collagen , which smooths fine lines and wrinkles. When finnish researchers looked at studies involving nearly 300,000 people over 10 years , they found that taking more than 700 milligrams of C suppliments daily reduced the risk of cardiovascular disease by 25 percent. A diet full of vitamin C rich fruits and vegetables isn't just good for your heart, it may also lower your risk of bladder, esophagus, stomach, and lunch cancers. Pairing vitamins C and E is smart for another reason, it may reduce your Alzheimer's risks by as much as 64 percent. Vitamin C can prevent the need for reading glasses around age 45. Anti-oxidants, including vitamin C, helps prevent one of the leading causes of blindness. I never realized how essential vitamin C was . More vitamin C for me from now on for sure!

  1. I am very surprised by all the things vitamin C can do for you. It makes me realize that a healthy, balanced nutrition is extremely important to my overall health. This article has helped me to think about what I eat, and perhaps I will start changing my eating habit to a healthier one. I am very glad however, that I drink my glass of orange juice, of which I am a huge fan, everyday.

  2. That’s cool that simple things such Vitamin C can do so much for being healthy. I eat a lot of carrots and I heard they too are also good for your eyesight?? But i cant have orange juice for some odd reason i kind of break out i guess because of the citrus. Id like to see a post about foods with good lean protein that would be awesome.
